"As a dentist, I have the opportunity to work with remarkable people, on an individual basis. Together, we improve and maintain their oral health. I strive to help them attain the kind of smile they want. I really enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level and building a strong relationship with them. We have patients who have been with the practice since the day we opened our doors. I’ve had the pleasure of watching many kids grow up, become parents themselves, and bring their children to us for their smile care. I am honored to be entrusted with a family’s smiles. I come from a family of healthcare providers, I am the first dentist in the family. Dentistry appealed to me because it allows me to help people achieve and maintain their oral health in a hands-on way. I love that dentistry is a blend of science, art, and medicine." Dr. Matthew J. Philosophy
"Our philosophy is to do the very best dentistry we can for our patients in a relaxed environment. We start by listening to the patients desires and concerns, then customizing a treatment plan based on their individual needs. We make it a priority to run on time and therefore schedule only 1 patient with the doctor at a time. Our team members are exceptional because they are all very kind caring people who have a passion for helping patients. All of our team members have many years of experience in dentistry and are very good at what they do. They are also a lot of fun to be around and to work with. We are all very serious about our jobs and what we are here to do, but I think it’s important that we have fun as well. In the more than 25 years that he’s been practicing, Dr. Severin has remained at the leading-edge of changes in the field. New techniques, technology, and dental materials are constantly becoming available. Dr. Severin’s constant studying keeps him current on these developments and how they can improve the care he provides his patients.
Dr. Severin has recently completed extensive, advanced training in orthodontics. He’s excited to now offer his patients both conventional orthodontic services (braces) and Invisalign® clear aligners.

Personal Life
After growing up in Bellevue, Dr. Severin has called Omaha his home since graduating from dental school. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and live music. Dr. Severin is passionate about his faith, family, and friends. He looks forward to his yearly mission trip to Jamaica with a medical/dental team.
